The Southwest Media News highlighted the Chanhassen Rotary Club's newest 4th of July event.
 
“We have seen it in other parades and it has been very successful and a lot of fun,” said Tim Erhart, a member of Chanhassen Rotary that boasts nearly 55 club members. “We are always trying to bring something new and creative to the parade – people enjoy seeing someone dressed up as famous people,” Erhart added.
 
Chanhassen Rotary Club member Michael Howe said the impersonation contest is an outgrowth from the popular classic car show held each year inside City Center Park. “It will be fun to see what people come up with,” for costumes — “people in the crowds of the parade love seeing this kind of thing.”
