District and RI Dues

Rotary International Dues

Invoices: Clubs are invoiced bi-annually in July and January. Invoices are sent from Rotary International to Club Presidents and Treasurers via email.
  • When due and payable: Invoices will be issued to Rotary clubs by the end of July and January, and Rotaract clubs by the end of January. If a club has reported the email addresses of it’s club officers and/or the club’s permanent email address, they will receive an electronic copy. Officers can view the invoice online by signing in to My Rotary and selecting My Rotary from the navigation menu before selecting your club’s name. From there, select Finance and choose Club Invoice from the options to View Current Invoice.
  • To ensure that emails from Rotary are not rejected or filtered as spam, add ri.clubfinance@rotary.org to your approved email contacts.
Members: club membership numbers for invoices are pulled from the Rotary international website.
  • Update membership information within 30 days of any changes, or by 1 January or 1 July, whichever is sooner.
  • Invoiced membership numbers are not able to be adjusted after the invoice is created.
Payment: All club invoices are due and payable upon receipt, and the amount due is not adjustable. Rotary International emails a copy of the invoice to every club officer in January and July. RI Dues:   Rotary club per capita dues: 

$  1.24  - Directors & Officers Insurance per member billed annually in July

$  5.19  - General Liability Insurance per member billed annually in July 

$  1.00  - Council on Legislation (COL) per member billed annually in July 

$18.00 - Rotary magazine (digital or print) per member billed bi-annually ($9 in July & Jan.) 
$82.00 - Dues per member billed bi-annually ($41 in July & Jan.)

 

TOTAL ANNUAL RI DUES FOR 2025-2026:  $107.43 per member 

 

Rotaract Club Dues: RI Rotaract per capita dues per year are as follows:

  • Community-based: $8.00
  • University-based: $5.00

Upcoming Dues: The COL representatives approved an increase in the dues that every Rotary member pays to Rotary International for three more years. The increases are reflected below. 

$85.50 for 2026-2027
$89.25 for 2028-2029
$93.00 for 2029-2030

District Dues

• How District budget is determined: The District Governor Elect (DGE) prepares a proposed budget in partnership with the District Leadership team. This is based upon the proposed budget, past budgets, and future district initiatives. The proposed budget is presented and voted on at the annual meeting to a quorum of District 5950 Clubs. All Clubs Presidents receive a copy of the proposed budget at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting. Dues are determined to cover expenses.

• When due and payable: Clubs are invoiced bi-annually in July and January. Invoices are sent from Quickbooks to Club Presidents and Treasurers via email.  Clubs should review and update their President’s and Treasurer’s email listed in Club Runner or on my.rotary.org prior to invoicing in December and June.
 
• Membership numbers: Membership numbers for invoices are pulled from the Rotary international website. Invoices cannot be changed due to inaccurate membership numbers once invoices have been sent. Clubs should update and review their membership information in Club Runner or my.rotary.org prior to invoicing in December and June.
 
• Payment: Online payment is required from all clubs.
 
• Dues: District Annual Dues for 2025-26 based on membership July 1 and January 1.
  $70.00 per member (billed semi-annually) for District Operations. 
  $  7.00 per member (billed semi-annually) for Youth Exchange.
  $10.00 per member (billed semi-annually) for 2028 RI Convention Host Assessment.
 
TOTAL ANNUAL DISTRICT DUES FOR 2025-2026: $87.00 per member ($43.50 per member billed semi-annually)
 

Annual Per Member Dues for RI & District

The total amount a club must remit annually for each Rotarian is $194.43
