Jewelie Grape's District Governor installation was a fun filled evening on the Mississippi. The group of 115 Rotarians were welcomed on to the boat with leis and then enjoyed tropical themed appetizers and Rotary themed drinks.
Jewelie Grape's District Governor installation was held on a Mississippi River boat cruise. Of the 115 Rotarians, there was Rotarians from 21 different clubs and guests from two states. People bingo allowed the group to mingle, learn more about one another, and win great prizes. The installation program had Shaun Irwin from Minneapolis City of Lakes Club and Jeff Cairns saying a few words; Jewelie finished the program with thank yous and recognizing her family in attendance. Five past district governors were in attendance; District installations are planned at the club level and reflect the different styles and personalities of the incoming district governor.
