Next October, our Zones 28-32 Institute will feature Rotary’s focus on peace and conflict resolution by showcasing our peace fellows and Rotary’s many partnerships that advance peace, including our work with UNICEF and the UN. Rotary and the world are stronger for the lasting impact of these many partners as we serve in over two hundred countries.

Bridges for Peace, the 2027 Zone Institute, will span from Atlantic to Pacific, as we convene our governor-training sessions and institute education in Whippany New Jersey and in New York City beginning October 20, 2027.
Many members will participate in tours and activities at the United Nations, UNICEF and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Optional programs can include sightseeing and theater events, as well as the powerful 9/11 memorial and museum.
Based at the Hanover Marriott, which offers ample and professional meeting space and is under 25 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), the conference will feature bus transportation to Manhattan for key events as well as guest speakers focused on peace and conflict resolution.
“Our Impact Tour celebrates the lasting change Rotarians make in their local communities,” notes RI Director Marty Helman. “The next Zone Institute will celebrate and advance the impact and lasting change Rotary is making in the world: ending polio, creating partnerships and helping to educate the next generations of peace fellows.”
The institute will feature learning tracks for membership, the Rotary Foundation, future leaders, international projects, diversity-equity-inclusion and belonging, public image and more. Special leadership development and learning tracks will be offered to governors-elect, governors-nominee and assistant governors. There will be a hands-on service project and a special spotlight on Rotary’s progress toward ending polio. Our French-speaking members from Montreal to Miquelon will be pleased to know we plan on-site translation support.
Registration details will be shared as we get close to the New Year: until then, please put October 20-24, 2027 on your calendar as Rotary Zones 28 & 32 welcome you to New Jersey and New York.
