J. Louis Turpin, GETS Team Leader
In the course of his 25+ years in Rotary, Louis Turpin has served in many senior District leadership positions (Governor, Rotary Foundation Chair, International Service Chair, etc.), as well as in various Training roles at the District, Multi-District PETS, Zone and Rotary International levels, including serving as an International Assembly Training Leader.
 
Louis has also served on the Board of Directors for ShelterBox USA, as a Schweitzer Institute delegate to the Nobel Peace Laureate World Summits and was recognized for his humanitarian work by US President Obama with the President’s Volunteer Service Award for eight consecutive years.
 
An Architect by profession, Mr. Turpin is married to Julie Turpin, who is a professor of business administration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and they have three adult daughters.

Sue Goldsen, GETS Trainer
Sue is a Past District Governor (2016-17) of Rotary District 6400. Sue is a Charter member of the Passport to Service Club.

Over the years, Sue has worked on numerous international service projects including volunteering as an ESL volunteer in Santarem, Brazil, participating on a R.E.L.A.Y. (Rotarians Enhancing Learning of African Youth) team to Ghana and traveling to Calcutta, India to work at the Pilayi School for Girls, and traveled to El Salvador to work at the Centro Arte para la Paz.

Sue has been a Facilitator and speaker at the Rotary International Youth Exchange Pre-Convention meetings and RI Conventions. Sue and her Rotarian PDG husband Bruce served as the Institute Chairs at the Motor City Zone in Detroit, Michigan. Sue has served as a trainer and team member on Zone Institutes and events. Sue was a trainer at the 2022 International Assembly.

Peter J. Schultz, GETS Trainer
Peter Schultz is a Past District Governor (2019-20) of Rotary District 5060, which is half in south-central British Columbia and half in central Washington state.  Founder & charter member of a new style of Rotary club, "Rotary Now! Kelowna" Peter enjoys helping clubs and districts expand their horizons and think differently about how they do Rotary.  This has led to his role as an Innovative Club Advocate for Zones 28 & 32, serving now in his 3rd year.
 
While enjoying many roles with Rotary since joining in 1997, his primary interest is in training at all levels including the Rotary Learning Institute, President-Elect Training Seminar, multiple Zone Institutes and most recently as a Governor-Elect Trainer at the International Assembly.
 
By profession Peter was a Professor of Physics and Research Scientist first at the Brookhaven National Laboratories in New York, and later at both the University of Western Ontario and Australian National University.  He and his partner Susan also ran a small commercial holding company and restaurant business for many years in Kelowna BC.  They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
