Help kids attend school!
The Mountain Empire Rotary Club and the Nogales, Sonora, Industrial Club are putting another group together to refurbish desks for kids.
We'll meet at the Nogales Port (time TBA) and our Nogales Rotarians will pick us up and take us to the work site, join them for lunch and then return us to the Port.
Two years ago, we discovered that if there was not a desk in a classroom in Nogales, Sonora, a child could not attend school.
The waiting lists are long!
The MER club joined forces with the Nogales Industrial Club to refurbish old desks and deliver them to the schools.
We are planning to have another workday on April 20th.
