Training tip

How to close your session powerfully

Consultants at the Bob Pike Group have advice on ending your training session in a focused, powerful way. In their recent article on CORE (closers, openers, revisiters, and energizers), they remind us, “Your course should end just as strongly as it began.” They offer these steps to bring the learning full circle and end with a purpose:
  1. Allow for reflection and action planning.
  2. Celebrate good times (with prizes, certificates, recognition of various kinds).
  3. Tie things together.
  4. Use the power of positivity.
