On Friday night, DG Scott has a celebration planned like you've never experienced at any conference!
 
We'll start off with a night of family games, and Rotary club competitions. Then, get ready for the entertainment that will bring the house down, and keep you on the dance floor with the perfect blend of Motown, disco, funk, and rock!
 
Memphis Soul is a classy, high energy 8-piece group showcasing a distinctive sound and style inspired by such artists as Earth, Wind and Fire, Otis Redding, Al Green, Sam Cooke, and Aretha Franklin. Memphis Soul features a solid rhythm section, fiery horns, and dynamic male and female vocalists. Their style displays the rich musical legacy of the 50's, 60's, and 70's, mixed with current popular classic soul and R&B styles. Memphis Soul also performs a variety of other popular standards from Motown to current dance music.
 
Memphis Soul was started in 2004 and has been actively performing since. What started out solely as a wedding band, has become so much more. They still love to play wedding and corporate events, but now they are being sought after for concerts and festivals as well. They've opened for and performed with artists such as Mary Wilson from the Supremes, Sister Sledge, members of Earth Wind and Fire, Morris Day and the Time, and Dazz Band. As Dallas' top Motown band, Memphis Soul has also headlined festivals such as the Martin Luther King Celebration at the Ft. Worth Rodeo, Laughs by the Lake for the City of Irving, Dallas Arboretum's Cool Thursday Concert Series, and many more.
