A very special and moving evening was enjoyed by 200 Rotarians, Rotaractors, Exchange Students, Ambassadorial Scholars, Women of Rotary, former Rotarians and guests as the Rotary Club of Humble Intercontinental "Celebrated the Past Present Future of Rotary". We honored our Charter Members ,Past Presidents and their survivors. The anniversary date of Rotary was chosen for this event.
 
Special presentations by Christine Sparks, Governor Sunny Sharma, David Beasley ,Kayla Price de Guiadian, Gregg Mielke, Philippe Cras, and Susan Brodbeck  conveyed an understanding of the past, present and future of Rotary on a local and International basis. . Bonnie Longion announced the imminent formation of a new Rotaract club and introduced its new president..
 Bruce Ward conducted a moving roll call of our 22 Charter Members. . All of our Charter members were "present" in our thoughts, 6 answered "here" in person, survivors of 2 answered here and a "here" was answered for the remaining 14 by a member of the club.. There are 11 surviving Charter members .D B McDonald and Wayne Robbins are still active members and were honored for their service.
The evening was concluded by the Youth Exchange song of "We are one, but we are Many"

A special meaning of Rotary was conveyed to all. Comments heard were "I was proud to be a Rotarian" "In 37 years I have never seen anything quite like this evening" "a great evening". It was truly "A Celebration of Rotary".
