Rotary Books For The World – An International Service Project, started in 2000 and supported by Houston area Rotary Clubs, Rotaract Clubs, and Interact Clubs, is proud to announce the shipment of our 350th 40’ shipping container of books (for a total of over 15 million pounds with a value of over $150 million), as well as several containers of school furniture, to Rotarian led literacy projects in Africa and around the world.

Would you & your club like to help with the shipment of the next container?

Please bring a group of your Club members, Interactors, Rotaractors, friends and family members to help sort and palletize books on the following dates:

When: Saturdays at  

8:30AM to 10:30 AM: August 18, & September 22, and

9 AM to 11 AM: October 20,

November 10,

December 8, 2018,

Jan. 19, 2019,

Feb 16,

March 23,

April 13,

May 4, and

June 8, 2019. 

This is a non- air-conditioned/non-heated warehouse.  Please dress appropriately.

Yes, you are welcome to bring used books (of any type as long as they are in good condition) to donate to this project.

You may park on Eagle Ave. or under 225.  Be careful crossing the street and do not leave valuables in your car
