Rotary Wine Appreciation Fellowship Dinner

Old World vs. New World

Thursday December 3, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.

S&S Steaks and Spirits, 815 Plantation Dr, Richmond, TX 77406

Please join us for an evening of good wine, excellent food and lots of Rotary fellowship. The District 5890 Wine Appreciation Fellowship has a unique experience prepared for 40 attendees. We have a 5 course dinner paired with both old world and new world wines so the subtle differences in wines from Europe and the Americas can be experienced with flavorful dishes, as they should be. We will have mushroom appetizer with Rosés, French onion soup with sauvignon blancs, green salad and fruits with chardonnays, choice of petite filet OR stuffed chicken breast with California Cabernet Sauvignon and French Bordeaux, and finally a decadent dessert with two interesting dessert wines. Fellow Rotarian Steve Onstad is owner of S&S and he will be sure to provide us with a memorable experience.

We have 40 spots available at $65.00 each, plus gratuity. Please reserve your place early because this is certain to sell out quickly. If you have any questions, please contact District Wine Appreciation Fellowship co-chair John Cotterell at rotary@johncotterell.com or 281-496-6666. This is the first of hopefully many District wine events around the area this year, so if you miss this one there will more to come.
