Welcome

Tim is a chartered accountant and obtained his designation in May, 1985 just one week before he and Sally were married.  On October 1, 1987 Tim established his own Chartered Accounting firm.  The firm has grown from a sole proprietorship with Sally as secretary to three partners plus a staff of thirteen.

 

Tim joined the Rotary club of Dawson Creek in 1988, became a member of the executive of that club in 1989 and since that time has been a member of either a club executive or district committee in all but three years of his Rotary career.  Tim was president of the Rotary club of Dawson Creek in 1996-1997, has been District Treasurer and Finance Chair, Treasurer for a district conference, a director for the world community services society, assistant governor (twice), member of the youth exchange committee (five years as chair), youth exchange counsellor, District Chair of New Generations, District Membership Chair, Club Foundation chair, and various other roles in the Rotary world. 

 

Sally has been a Rotarian since 1988 when Tim joined Rotary participating in all aspects of the Rotary world.  They have approached all of their Rotary roles as a team (often referred to as the two headed monster of youth exchange).   Sally became a member of the Rotary club of Dawson Creek Sunrise in August, 2004 after attending the international convention in Osaka.  She was heard to say I am not attending another convention unless I am a Rotary club member.  Sally has had many roles in Rotary including, club secretary, club president 2010-2011, club Interact chair, district Interact committee member, club membership chair, district membership committee member and of course was very involved with youth exchange while Tim was District chair and on the district committee.

 

Tim and Sally have three children, Brigitte born in 1987, Scott born in 1989 and Brenna born in 1992.  All three have grown up with Rotary in their life.  They have all been on youth exchange, Brigitte and Brenna long term and Scott short term.  Brigitte was charter president of the Dawson Creek Interact club, Scott was president of Interact club two years later and Brenna was elected to be president but went on her exchange instead.  Brigitte and Scott have both graduated from university and Brenna is currently attending university in Edmonton.  Tim and Sally also have fourteen other children from thirteen countries that they hosted as exchange students.  They have had the good fortune of attending weddings in India, France, Holland and Finland so far.
