Harry, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant has a Masters of Business Administration degree. For 21 years, prior to retiring, as CEO & President, he led Capital City Savings-Servus Credit Union from a soft receivership to being named one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies with 900 employees and solid finances.
Harry's community roles included Chairing the Greater Edmonton United Way Campaign, Chair in Business atMacEwan University, Capital Health Authority Board Member and a Junior Achievement Governor
Judy Buddle, Harry's wife of 47 years is a former teacher, school trustee and chaired its Board. She successfully took on many community, board and fundraising positions. Judy holds a BA degree.
With the Rotary Club of Edmonton since 1989, Harry chaired the club's Annual Gala, was Club President and developed the club's Friends of Rotary model.
Judy and Harry
· followed career moves through five provinces, raising their family of nine children; four are adopted.
· look forward to the 2011-2012 Rotary District 5370 Governor role
· will be on their 4th Tour de Alberta for Kids With Cancer Society in June 2011 from Penticton BC to Edmonton; Harry as a cyclist for 1000 kms and Judy leading support.
