"Its all in the Family"  Inbound or Outbound, everything you need to know about Rotary Exchange students and how it fits your life.  This short session will give you the top 10 items you need to know if you're considering sharing your life with a Rotary Exchange student.  It will help you understand what your responsibilities are and answer questions on how to begin.

"Going Global"  Get the "411" on Global grants and the impact you can make in the world.  Join Roger Perry for a short introduction to Rotary Global grants.  Learn why they are important for your club and how you can "Be a gift to the world" 

"All stressed Out?." Your not alone.  Life and Rotary can get crazy.  What you can do to manage the stress in your life and help keep you and your family in the process sane.  A clue… laughter is one of the tools so bring your sense of humor.

"What's my Line" This short energetic session will give you the tools in 20 min or less on how you can write and tell the most effective stories to engage your community. Whether you’re a Board member of a nonprofit, a Rotarian, or a community advocate, this session will help you write your elevator speech about your passion.

Days for Girls.  Learn how you can change the life of a young woman half way around the world and organize others to do the same. This brief session will explain the Days for Girls program.  A service project designed to provide young woman with a reusable . 

"Leading the way"  Ask yourself the question " Am I a leader or a Manager?"  Too many of us on Boards or Advisory committees are unsure of our role and therefore become more of a Manager than a Leader.  Learn how to identify your leadership type and learn how not to get in the Micro Management rut.

"Will you respect me tomorrow?" Dr. Len Hutt provides an engaging, thought provoking look at Respect through the stories of a wide range of people including Volunteers, Business Leaders, and Seniors in Aruba, Toronto Ontario, and Kamloops BC.  He then ties this into life and challenges of Rotarians engaged in living the Rotary Way through the 4-Way Test.  Join Len for this thought provoking topic. 

Navigating the Globe. This hands on workshop is designed to help you with the navigation of the Global Grants application.  Bring your laptop to this one if you can.  Kathy Butler from Kelowna, who has significant experience with the global grant process, will take you on a quick step by step tour of the application and answer questions that will make your application process a little easier.

"Kids say the darndest things."  Youth Service Trips step by step. Whether your considering planning a Youth Service trip or would just like to attend one, this session will give you the step by step information you need to know to get started.  You will also hear from Yakima Rotary Interact students who will share their story having just returned from Ecuador.

Boards in Gear.  Unlock the Why, What, Who, and How of Nonprofit Boards.  If you're currently on a board or new to the Board member experience, this session will help you understand what your roles and responsibilities really are. Its Alive… Its Alive This is a hands on look at FACEBOOK and making your page come alive.  Bring your laptop to this fast moving session and learn how to take your personal or group face book page and make it something active.  Matt will answer questions and help navigate you through this big social world called FACEBOOK.

Membership Matters  Why Membership Matters and what you can do right now to attract and engage new members in your club.   Every club has a goal to get new members and keep current members.  This session will remind us of the pro active ways we can accomplish our goals and grow our clubs for lasting community impact. Part 1 is about Attraction and Part 2 is about Engagement.

What do marriage and Rotary have in common?   What can Rotary borrow from great marriages to help keep members engaged?  Like every great marriage, it is a team effort, with each partner adjusting to the ever-changing emotions and dynamic of the relationship.  This session will illustrate how the demands of Rotary and marriage can live in the same household and how you can take those same principals to build a great club.
