Petawawa Rotary Meeting Date: Nov. 16, 2010
1. Welcome
Paul Giroux, acting for the President, opened the meeting at 6:15
2. Correspondence
The secretary circulated a letter from our MP Gallant which outlined the availability of government funding for Accessibility projects.

The secretary circulated a letter from our MP Gallant which outlined the availability of government funding for Accessibility projects.
The Renfrew County Literacy Newsletter was also circulated.
3. Old Business
Paul Harris Dinner: Don't hesitate as tickets are going fast.
4. Report and New Business
1. Club (Faye Reid)
Christmas Party Faye Reid circulated a list of requirements for member food support for the event.
2. International (Norm Edwards)
Polio cases in Congo have accelerated with 200 new cases.Rotary funding has been added to assist in the emergency reaction. Motion by Norm Edwards: Permission to send $2000 to the campaign from the Club Foundation Fund. Second Ray Serre; Motion was carried.
3. Vocational (Mark Condron - absent)
Action: We still would like Interac attendance at the Paul Harris dinner. Glenn MacGillivray talked to Kaylie who will talk to the Interac club and advise them re building a good club. Ron Syrie will to talk to Mark Condron about the idea.
5. 50/50 (Ray Serre)
Won by Mike Lavoie ÃÆ'¢â‚¬" funds donated to the food bank
6. Bingo (Ed Chow - absent)
There is no Bingo on Nov. 18
Nov. 25: Ed Chow, Arnold Lawrence, Ray , Steve Knott
7. Other Business
Blood Donor- Ray S. Dec. 13 at Civic Center at 1400 to 1700. Faye, Terry, Ray, Ron, Ross (to be confirmed)
