After having first  receiving approval of Orrville Salvation Army's executive director Beth Fuller , Orrville's Exchange, Rotary and Lions Club members seized upon the unique challenge opportunity to stock the Army's food pantry shelves. An extraordinary amount of 2,205 food items was collected for the cause.  In response to the inaugural Soup-er-Bowl tri-club challenge, Fuller responded:  "Our pantry is now stocked for the winter thanks to the amazing efforts of these three local clubs.  It's a definite win-win for us and our community!!  We are stocked with soup, canned fruit and cornbread mixes.  These will go far to provide many families with a hot meal for these cold winter months. We also received many miscellaneous items which can be used in our food pantry as well as the Percy's Weekend Backpack Food program operated in partnership with the Orrville Area United Way.  Students from Orrville and Dalton schools will directly benefit from these donations.  Another win-win for our community.  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!!
