September 1 meeting
No pre-arranged speaker? Not a problem. No catered lunch? Not a problem.Today's meeting at Orrville Rotary's pavilion at Orr Park convened for the sole purpose for members to socially reengage and connect with each other.  Masked and safely distanced while often fending off intrusive bees, members shared personal news and updates, current events discussions, fundraising dialog and ideas, and cheerful conversations.
Rotarian Rich Corfman, Wayne County
Board of Elections Deputy Director, answered vital questions posed concerning the impending general election, mail-in ballots, and separated facts from fiction about voting procedures and protocols.  For its ongoing charitable outreach, the club is currently compiling a list of local Rotarians who wish to again sign up purchase winter coats  through District 6650's participation in the expansive nationwide Operation Warm initiative. Since 1912, participating clubs in our District have provided over 18,000 new winter coats to children in our district.
