With a little help from Grant Carpenter (center) Rotarians Mark Auble and James Carpenter "man" the red kettle stanchion during their bell ringing shifts.
"Making a difference with every ring."  This Salvation Army motto is recognized by volunteers of all ages, shapes and sizes who take their place alongside an iconic red kettle  in Korea, Japan, Europe and the United States.  Ringing seasonal bells during the holiday supports raising funds that sustains the help provided by the Salvation Army to local communities throughout the year.  For more than 70 years Orrville's Salvation Army Service Center has assisted with individual and family services to those in need in our area with food, rent, housing and utility relief year round. Special projects throughout the year are also a sustained priority by the Center. Orrville Rotarians have, with pride, consistently "rallied for the cause" during bell ringing season, thus enhancing Rotary's motto of Service Above Self.
