Recently Jackson Township safety forces purchased a quadcopter with funds from a donation from the Jackson Township Rotary.

The quadcopter will enable fire and police personnel to explore potentially dangerous scenarios such as active fire scenes or major accident or disaster scenarios without putting themselves or others at risk. Township Trustee Todd Hawke, Police Chief Mark Brink and Fire Chief Tracy Hogue acknowledged the donation when the Rotary Club met at the Jackson Township Safety Center on Sept. 30.
