Don is a 1953 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, and a 1958 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design. He is also a 1962 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with an English Major. After working as a teller at Union Savings and Trust Bank in 1958 & 1959, he went on Active Duty in the U.S. Army as a Second and then First Lieutenant where he served as an Anti-Aircraft Artillery Officer. He served in the reserves for eight years.
After his return from the Armed Forces, and his graduation from Kent State, he taught high school English at Elyria Public Schools. In 1964, he joined Packard Electric Division of General Motors in the Industrial Engineering Department where he worked for six years. In 1970, he moved to Public Relations where he was editor of the plant newspaper for 10 years, he then became coordinator of community relations until his retirement in 1991 after more than 27 years at the division of General Motors.
In September of 1977, Gordon Moore, also a Packard retiree, were asked to join Howland Township Rotary by Warren Rotarian, and honorary Howland Rotarian, Les Stauffer, as the first non-charter members of Howland Rotary.
Since that time, Gordon Moore has passed away, and Don is now the oldest, both in age (89) and years of Membership (47) in Howland Rotary. He served as Howland Rotary President in 1981-1982 and again in 1993-1994.
Don also has two sons and four grandchildren.
Bob is a 1990 graduate from Brookfield High School, a 1995 graduate from Youngstown State University with a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Phoenix 2010. After graduation, he moved to Louisville, KY, then Atlanta, GA, for several career opportunities. Bob returned to the area in 1998 and married Erica (Gribling), having first met in the YSU marching band in 1990. Bob and Erica have resided in Howland for 26 years, along with their son Christian and daughter Allison. Christian is a fifth year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Akron and Allison is a second year Human Development and Family Science student at Kent State University. With over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, he currently serves as Sr. Director, Regional Human Resources for Community Health Systems, where he has responsibilities for HR and Labor Relations at facilities in Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.
Rotarian Marilyn Titus invited Bob to join Howland Rotary in 2013. Since then, he served as Club President from 2016 to 2018 and with the support and commitment from the club’s membership helped the club to achieve the distinctive Rotary President Citation Award for the 2016-2017 year. From 2008 through 2021, Bob also found a passion in mentoring and developing youth in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in Howland, which included the founding of a new Boy Scout Troop (Troop 122) with the help of fellow Scout Leaders in 2013. During his seven years as Scoutmaster, Troop 122 Scouts left their mark in many places far and wide including the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, the Boundary Waters of Minnesota and Canada, the mountains of West Virginia and the waters around the Florida Keys, among many other adventures. One of his most memorable Scout outings was ice waterfall climbing in the Catskill Mountains of New York. During his leadership tenure, fourteen Howland youth achieved their rank of Eagle Scout, including his son. Many Eagle Scout and community service projects were completed within the Howland community.
In addition to Rotary and several professional organizations, Bob is also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, including the Mahoning Valley Chapter, and the Society of The Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick - Philadelphia, PA.
Tamara is a 1988 graduate from Southeast High School. She attended Kent State University and received a bachelor’s degree in Gerontology in 1992. She is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator by the Ohio Department of Health. Tamara has been the Administrator at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland since it opened in 1998.
Tamara serves on the Nursing Home Administrator Advisory committee for Kent State University and is also an advisory board member for the Strategic AI in Healthcare program at Ashland University.
This is Tamara’s first year as a Rotarian. She and her husband, John, have been married for 31 years and have 2 daughters, ages 28 and 23.

Dan Harp - President Elect '25-'26
Dan moved to Howland OH from MI in February of 2022. He currently is working at 717 Credit Union as the Chief Lending Officer and has been working in lending most of his career. Dan proudly served in the Marine Corps and an OCS graduate.
Dan has a lovely wife, Tracy and they have 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
Randy Baker
Randy was born at TMH, the middle son of Ed and Ann Baker, and grew up in Howland alongside his brothers, Roger and Chuck. He graduated from Howland Schools in the class of 1968 and went on to enroll at the University of Cincinnati to pursue architecture, completing the six-year program in 1974. He achieved state and national registration in 1976 and returned to Howland in 1977 to establish his architectural firm.
In 1981, Randy married Suzanne, and together they raised their family in Howland. They have three adult children, all happily married, who have blessed them with nine grandchildren. In 2003, the family moved to their home on Lake Milton, which serves as their permanent residence, while they also spend about half the year at their home on Sanibel Island, FL. They enjoy boating and various outdoor activities at both locations.
Throughout the years, Randy was privileged to serve on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations, including Trumbull Savings & Loan Company, Second National Bank, Warren General Hospital, the Rotary Club of Howland, The Buckeye Club, and Trumbull Country Club.
He is also a lifelong member of Howland Community Church, where he has held numerous leadership roles.
Dave Snyder
Dave is a Registered Architect and Principal at Baker Bednar Snyder & Associates, with a distinguished career that began in 1986. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to the field of architecture while also pursuing a passion for raising and breeding quarter horses and paints, a venture he has enjoyed for 25 years.
As a proud parent, Dave has two children, Tarra Dubon and Taylor Backus, both of whom are married and live nearby. He is also a dedicated grandparent to five grandchildren: Londyn, Lincoln, Locke, Frankie, and Cain, who bring joy and fulfillment to his life.
Residing on a farm in Johnston, Ohio, Dave shares his home with a beloved dog named Bogey. In addition to his professional pursuits, he engages in various hobbies, including undertaking renovation and construction projects purely for personal enjoyment, as well as enjoying a round of golf whenever possible.
Dave embodies a balance of professional achievement and personal fulfillment, thriving in both his architectural career and family life.
Angel Williams
Lakita “Angel” Williams is the founder of the nonprofit Shielding Angels, servicing the stalked, harassed, and privacy violated population of Ohio (established in 2023). www.shieldingangels.info.
Angel has owned a for profit business called Sew Cute located in downtown Warren, Ohio in 2016. Sew Cute was a temporary city project for the building up of Warren, Ohio’s downtown real estate and economic community. She has experience owning a previous nonprofit business called The Sewing Bank, established in 2015. These businesses taught youth and adults how to sew and offered sewing services to the community. Both businesses were dissolved in 2018.
Angel has worked with organizations that brought local and state legislative changes, and served as a board member to other nonprofit groups. Currently, Angel is devoting time outside of Shielding Angels to model the “service above self” motto as a new Howland Rotary member.
