AMAZING ROTARY RALLY …….. WHERE STRATEGY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!
WHAT IS IT?
A half-day (noon – 4:00 pm) Amazing Race. It’s a car rally with many variations….. including walking, bicycling or even skateboarding as options for getting around. The participants working in teams of two to four, will be given a list of 50 items to be collected, photos to be taken (max 24 exposures), tasks to be done and trivia questions to be answered. Points will be assigned based on the degree of difficulty and combinations will be accepted. Along the course there will be special stops where activities will be available and funds/items raised will go to local charities. Remember…… Strategy is the name of the game!

The starting and ending points will be C.M.H.A. Parking Lot (329 Pitt St.); the rest of the day will be all over the place but with enough options to accommodate participants on foot, etc..

WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE?
To have a ‘fun’ fundraiser that will promote exploring and learning about our community while discovering some little known facts and places. The funds raised are being donated to C.M.H.A.’s Mental Health education and suicide prevention programs for schools and the new Mental Health wing at Cornwall Community Hospital.

WHO WILL BE INVOLVED?
The objective is to have 20 teams of 2-4 people. It is expected that any participants operating a motorized vehicle to get around will be 18 years of age and older.

TIMEFRAME FOR THE DAY:
11:30–1:00 teams will register, receive challenge packages, strategize
1:00-4:00 teams off and running
4:00 deadline for teams to return to C.M.H.A. and submit their results
4:00 – 5:30 participants have snacks, pizza at Starbright. Winners announced.

The entry fee is $25 per person or $15 for students with a student card. Tee shirts will be available.
