Pleasanton: A town of Spooky Stories and Tales of Ghosts!

Sarah Schaefer is a native of Sacramento CA who has lived in the Bay Area for the last seven years. She got her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Oregon, where she fell in love with the idea of working in history museums. She has a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies with emphasizes in both museum education and collection management, as well as an MBA with an emphasis in non-profit management. Over the last 8 years she has worked in history museums in Lake Tahoe, Reno, Anaktuvuk Pass in Alaska, Oakland, Silicon Valley, and now Pleasanton. She has been the Director of Education at the Museum on Main for almost 4 years and enjoys living and working in the Pleasanton and Tri-Valley area.
