Greeting All Members!  Here’s what we have going on:
 
  • Our meeting this week is at the Explorer Hotel, Kat B.
  • October 24 was Polio Day - any member can make a donation on the RI website  www.rotary.org
  • October 31 - Trick or Eat  - We will meet at the Salvation Army Church located at 4925 45 Street at 6:00pm this Thursday Evening, October 31st.  Contact Ryan, Susan Huvenaars or Ruth Gillingham.
  • Nov 4 to 18 - On-line auction for the Rotary Club of Hay River Sunrise and the Hay River Hospital Foundation.  Because the auction is on-line bidders can be anywhere, so check it out.   • Nov 8 - The Rotary International Convention is being held June 1 – 4, 2014 in Sydney Australia.  There is a 10% discount with Qantas.  From Edmonton via Air Canada or Westjet to LA and then Qantas to Sydney.  Total cost from Edmonton around $1800/person.  judy@harcourt.ca by November 8th to book a room at the District 5370 hotel.
  • Soon - Dictionaries
  • The Executive meetings are moved to every second Wednesday.  The next two are at noon on Oct 23 at MacKay LLP, and Nov 6 at NWTel.  All members are welcome to attend.
  • The Interact Club of Ecole St. Patrick High School meets (most) Wednesdays at noon. All Rotarians are welcome! Call Susan Huvenaars to confirm time and location 873-4888.
  • Chris Williams needs suggestions for Speakers – either a member of the community, a guest from out of town, or even yourself (for a classification talk or a topic of interest to Rotary)
