Greeting All Members! Here’s what we have going on:
- Breaking News – Pat Moore needs a replacement for Kettles tonight, she’s sick in bed with the flu. Please respond to her email if you can help.
- Now - Philippines - Rotary partner ShelterBox has committed aid for thousands of families in the form of emergency shelter and other relief assistance. They were already in the Philippines because of the earthquake in September. You can visit their website and sponsor a ShelterBox to help a family in need www.shelterboxcanada.org If you have any questions about how you can help, please write to relief@rotary.org
- Dec 12 – Our AGM will take place. That meeting is when we elect the Executive for the next Rotary year, which begins July 1, 2014. Members interested in joining the Board should talk to Emilie or Charles ASAP (the nominating committee).
- Dec 15 - We’ve had some anonymous donors to Polio Plus come forward!!! Until Dec. 15, 2013 we can turn every dollar donated to Polio Plus into two matching streams; your donation and the anonymous matching donation, each being matched 1 to 6. (ie – your donation of $100 becomes $1,300). After Dec. 15 it goes back to matching your dollars 1-6. Any member can make a donation on the RI website www.rotary.org

- December 6 – Noon – Explorer Hotel (Janvier) – TBA
- December 12 – Noon – Explorer Hotel (Janvier) – Annual General Meeting
- December 19 – Noon – Explorer Hotel (Kat B&C) – Christmas Party
- December 26 – Boxing Day – Meeting cancelled
- Feb 20 - The Rotary Club of Spruce Grove would like to invite curlers in districts 5360 and 5370 to the 53rd annual curling bonspiel to be held from February 20 to 23, 2014 in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Interested teams may visit this site to learn more about the event and to register a team. If you have any questions please contact Angus McKenzie at angusmc@shaw.ca.
- The Interact Club of Ecole St. Patrick High School meets (most) Wednesdays at noon. All Rotarians are welcome! Call Susan Huvenaars to confirm time and location 873-4888.
- Chris Williams needs suggestions for Speakers – either a member of the community, a guest from out of town, or even yourself (for a classification talk or a topic of interest to Rotary)
