Greeting All Members!  Here’s what we have going on:
 
Weekly Meeting - is in our usual place (Kat C) at  the Explorer Hotel
 
The Interact Club of Ecole St. Patrick High School meets (most) Wednesdays at noon. All Rotarians are welcome! Call Susan Huvenaars to confirm time and location 873-4888.
 
The next Club Executive Meetings are April 9 & 23, all members are welcome, Location TBA
  • Last weekend – Big Thanks to those who braved the cold to help move the bikes to our repair facility at the Bellanca Tower. A special thanks to Garth who provided a trailer to move the bikes in.  Keep an eye out for more Bike Auction News!!!
  • This weekend - Bike auction you say?  This weekend there’ll be a bike sort and clean-up party.  See Ryan for more information.
  • April 6 – 2:30-4:30 pm City of Yellowknife Volunteer Recognition BBQ Party at the Multiplex (DND Gym).  No registration, all volunteers in Yellowknife are welcome!
  • April 12 - ‘Rotary Park Boardwalk’ work party – weather permitting!  Meet at the Dettah ice road access next to the Park at 9:00 AM – we’ll be hauling gravel for the pads for the boardwalk. We need people with snowmobiles and sleds to haul the gravel, plus lots of muscle – male, female, old, young and everything in between.  See Chuck for more information.
  • April 26 – “Me and Rotary” workshop at the District Office in Edmonton - Learn more about Rotary and build on your leadership skills.  Contact Edith Martin orgnav@telusplanet.net, 780-721-8765
  • May 2 - Rotary’s International 2013-14 President, Ron Burton and Jetta will visit Red Deer, the home city of Monty Audenart, Aide to President Burton and Trustee of the Rotary Foundation 2013-14.

Chris Williams needs suggestions for Speakers – either a member of the community, a guest from out of town, or even yourself (for a classification talk or a topic of interest to Rotary)
 
Seniors Bingo is run by Rotary Volunteers on Tuesday Nights at 7-8 PM. Our schedule is the months of February, April, June, August, October and December.  If you would like to participate, please contact Dale Crouch.
 
Paula is looking for volunteers for the Membership Committee.  The role of the Membership Committee is to develop and implement an action plan for membership development.
