The Rotary Club of Yellowknife completed another year of providing snacks to Mildred Hall School and Weledeh Catholic School. The children in both schools love receiving their healthy snacks each day, which are delivered to the schools at the beginning of each week by Rotary members.

The closure of the schools for two weeks in May, made it possible for us to present the balance of the budget to be used for a year-end lunch at each school.
Muriel Tolley, who coordinates the program, presented cheques to Elizabeth Brace, principal of Mildred Hall School and Jenny Reid, principal of Weledeh Catholic School.
The Rotary Snack Program is made possible through a generous annual donation from the Union of Northern Workers.
