Vice-president Celestino Oh, left, and president Wayne Guy present Pam Coulter with the certificate at the regular luncheon on Sept. 10, 2020.

Pam Coulter is the latest member of our club to receive the Paul Harris Fellowship recognition. It is The Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs. It is named for Rotary’s founder, a Chicago lawyer, who started our organization with three business associates in 1905. Individuals who have shown by exemplary effort, sacrifice or dedication to the causes and principles of Rotary deserve the recognition of the Paul Harris Fellowship are eligible to be nominated, whether they are members of Rotary or not.
Paul Harris said:
“He who tries to find the good in others will be rewarded, for others will surely find the good in him. Of all the Earth’s sad and lonesome creatures, the most helpless is he who loves not his fellow men.”
