How to Be a More Effective ... Whatever
Posted by Paul Falvo
This is where the Rotary Club de Paris has lunch. This has nothing to do with this story. But I needed somewhere to put the photo.
The "One Minute Manager," "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff," ... all these well-known tomes share some common truths, according to The Rotarian magazine.
If your time management skills have never led you to complete these books, here for your reading pleasure, is a brief summary, super condensed. You might call it the "four-way plan."
1. PREPARE - start your day with a list
2. TACKLE your list - don't get bogged down in less important stuff
3. THINK - stay calm, be positive
4. LIVE in the moment! - concentrate on the task at hand, and feel good about what you accomplish
Yours in Rotary,
