Kim Knutson joined a recent Thursday lunch to present the Club with an unexpected gift — $10,000 from the estate of her late husband and longtime Rotarian, Craig Hockridge.
The cheque was received by Club President Wayne Guy, who expressed sincere thanks for the bequest.
Craig passed away last May, after suffering a stroke. As a story in Cabin Radio noted, Kim had a roller-coaster year in 2020, as in March she had opened her new real-estate business.
Craig devoted many hours to Rotary projects including the building of the gazebos in Rotary Park.
The Club is now determining how to best use the donation to honour Craig’s memory.
