P.C.H.S. Students Recognized at August 15th Meeting

Two Plant City High School Students were recognized at the August 15th meeting of the Plant City Rotary Club.  Hali Talkington recently attended S4TL- Seminars for Tomorrows Leaders at Florida Southern College in Lakeland.  She was sponsored by our club to attend this week long leadership conference for rising high school seniors.  Conner Hurst recently attended the World Affairs Seminar at Auburn University in Alabama.  He was sponsored by our club to attend this week long seminar where students get a taste of college life while gaining a better understanding of complex international issues, building leadership and communication skills.  They were introduced by club Interact chairman, Tod Pukas.  Each of the students gave a short summary of their week's experiences and thanked our club for helping to make their participation in these outstanding opportunities possible.
