The Rotary Club of Twinsburg is currently conducting a water project in Northern Thailand with the assistance of the Case Western Reserve University chapter of Engineers Without Borders.  The result of the project will be a source of safe drinking water and sanitation system for 4 villages.  The benefactors of the project will be over 2,000 school students and villagers of Hill People of Northern Thailand.  Contributing clubs are Strongsville, Twinsburg, Bedford, Chagrin Highland, Nordonia Hills and Chiang Mai North.  Much of the project was funded by Districts 6630, 3360 and 6460 matching grants along with The Rotary Foundation matching grant.  By raising $6,100 toward this project we were able to fund the $36,650 needed for this project through the power of district and Rotary Foundation matching grant process.

Our Service Project chair and District Secretary, Dave Harper, recently lead a group of young business professionals on a Group Study Exchange trip to Taiwan.  These young professionals had the opportunity to network with business leaders in Taiwan and see how the work of Rotary is conducted there.  This was once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these professionals to build goodwll and make better friendships to businesspeople in Taiwan.
