My Dear Fellow Rotarians, As I write this week's newsletter, I am filled with mixed emotions because this will be my last communication in this role. It is now official: Debra Porter is no longer our president-elect. As of today, she is our new president. Please join me in congratulating Debra on becoming the president of one of the best Rotary clubs in the nation—a fact, not just an opinion. I am confident in handing over the reins to Debra and our new board of directors. Serving as your president for two consecutive terms has been an incredible experience. Together, we have achieved so much. I am immensely grateful to my fellow board members for their guidance, dialogue, and leadership throughout my tenure. With so many talented new members, our club is poised for continued growth and success. Our new meeting schedule has been well-received, and the positive feedback has been overwhelming. For those who can attend the breakfast meeting, please do so. We have a wonderful presentation planned on our club's leadership roles and responsibilities. We will also repeat this presentation during the lunch meeting for those unable to make it in the morning. We hope everyone is on board as we continue to make a positive impact both locally and internationally. I am also thrilled to officially welcome members from the Morrisville/Yardley Rotary Club as they join forces with us to create an even more dynamic club. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge our new district governor, Katie Farrell. Katie has a long and rich history with Rotary, and I have known her for several years. I am excited about her leadership and the positive influence she will have on our district. Thank you all for your support and dedication. Let's continue to do great things together. Sincerely, Mick Petrucci Outgoing President Newtown Rotary Club Serving the community since 1953 And…. Your new… CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
