Hillsborough Children Scramble for Easter Eggs at Annual Rotary Egg Hunt

Hillsborough, N.J. March 31, 2018…  Much anticipated Spring weather made a very timely, albeit brief, appearance on Saturday, just in time for hundreds of area children to gather up thousands of treat-filled plastic Easter eggs, along with miniature footballs provided by the Junior Raiders Football organization, at the Rotary Club of Hillsborough’s annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The Easter Bunny made a grand entrance riding the Woods Road Fire Company’s ladder truck, and later posed for pictures.  Hot dogs were served free-of-charge to parents and children, many of whom sported smiling bunny faces created by two on-site face painters. Country music, played over a concert-quality audio system provided by Audio Café, entertained the crowd throughout the morning.

Along with the Hillsborough Rotary Club’s summer Rotary Fair, the Esater Egg Hunt has become an annual Hillsborough family tradition for the past 17 years.
