Service Above Self doesn’t stop at the township line. This month, members of the Rotary Club of Hillsborough, NJ, carried our spirit of fellowship well beyond our home club.
📍 New Brunswick, NJ: Our Club Secretary, Evrim Çiçek joined the Rotary Club of New Brunswick to celebrate the inauguration of their Sensory Room, a wonderful new space built to support inclusion and comfort for those who need it most. Congratulations to our New Brunswick friends on a project that will make a real difference in the community.
📍 Dubai, UAE: Our Club President Abed Medawar visited the Rotary Club of Jumeirah during one of their regular meetings and witnessed an inspiring panel on basic education, literacy, and sustainable child-support projects. Special thanks to guest speakers Jennifer Sault, Founder and CEO of Thrift for Good, and Renos Fountoulakis, Founder of the CR Hope Foundation and the “Seeds of Light” project, for sharing their vision and impact.
From a sensory room in New Brunswick to classrooms and communities around the world, these visits remind us that Rotary is one global family working toward the same goal: creating lasting change.
Thank you to our host clubs for the warm welcome. We left inspired, and we’re bringing those ideas home to Hillsborough.
