The District is planning a special day to honor our active military and our veterans on October 5 at the Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough Township.
There will be food, fun, displays, information, exhibits, and remote control aircraft demonstrations.
Club assistance is needed to help make this event a success.

District 7510 Military/Veterans Appreciation Day - Oct. 5, 2013
We are pleased to announce that Rotary District 7510 will hold a Military/Veterans Appreciation Day on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough Township, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (rain date - Sun. Oct. 6). The event will include information tables, entertainment and food for the Military, Veterans, and their families. We also plan to have aircraft exhibits and remote control aircraft demonstrations.
We are encouraging all clubs to participate both by attending the event and by providing items needed by Operation Chillout and Operation Shoe Box, two organizations that assist our military and our veterans. Financial contributions are also encouraged.
To better coordinate items being donated, each club will be given an assignment through the Assistant Governors to the club presidents (through Deputy Governor Jean Withers). Items that will be requested/assigned are on the following lists:

BACKPACK DRIVE We will deliver backpacks mid December through the end of January this year. Our stops will include locations in 12 NJ Counties: Warren, Sussex, Morris, Essex, Bergen, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon, Burlington, Ocean, Monmouth and Camden and Easton, PA and some towns in Rockland County New York. Donate a backpack or duffel bag filled with warm clothing, toiletries and survival gear for a homeless man, woman or child this winter.

Our event needs Sponsors:
Any funds raised will be distributed to Military/Veterans programs. Levels of sponsorship are Platinum $1500, Gold $1000, Silver $500, and Supporter $200. Sponsors will receive the following recognition:
Platinum – staffed table at event, recognition in publicity, and signage at event.
Gold - recognition in publicity and on signage at event.
Silver - recognition on signage at event.
Supporter – entitles sponsor to listing on the “Supporter” list
