December 12 Meeting Highlights & Happy Bucks

Pawtucket Rotary didn't win the Bell Ringing contest, but collected over $1,000 to support the work of the Salvation Army.

Bill Hunt was fined $2 for "misconduct" at the meeting.

Invocation was presented by Dennis Stark.

Rotary Foundation Thought of the Day was presented by Bill Hunt.

Thomas Mann serenaded the group with two piano selections during lunch. The song leaders of the Day, Robert Macbeth and Dwight Douglas led such holiday classics as White Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing: Special thanks to all who volunteered to ring the bell at Stop N Shop. In total, including Lew Miller's raffle contribution and other club member donations, we raised $1020 for the Salvation Army.

Bob M: Happy Herb's pen is mightier than the sword (also happy he may be only person reading Herb's column).

Steve Hixon from Kitchen Mentors happy to be expanding a program to provide culinary cooking classes that will benefit the elderly. He donated $20 happy bucks!
