On Tuesday, 27 February 2018, the Newport County Council, Navy League of the United States and the Newport Rotary Club will honor the Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England (SENE) Officer and Enlisted Service Members of the Year at a recognition luncheon.

Our honorees are Officer of the Year: Chief Warrant Officer Joseph Miner, USCG, Marine Inspector, CG Sector SENE; Senior Enlisted Service Member of the Year: IT1 Jeremy Pio Boltersdorf, USCG, Electronics Support Detachment Newport, RI; and MST2 Peter M. Freese USCG, Prevention Dept. CG Sector SENE. Each is being recognized for exceptional professional performance, standout military bearing, inspirational leadership and community involvement. Their biographies will be contained in the event program.
