-2025 Fair – 119th fair with a Mardi Gras Theme
-26,000 people through the gate, with attendance on Thursday and Friday up from previous years
-Built on volunteers, with 34 different committees
-Lots of tradition in our Society
-Always looking for new volunteers to join
-Rentals of facilities through the year
-Grants helping with upgrades
-infrastructure upgrades
-Red Barn new roof
-New light horse area bathrooms
-looking for ways to use the grounds throughout the year
-Highway signs are new this year and they look wonderful
-Willing to post our garage sale on them.
Playground update:
-Sign up sheet going around
-Next week 18, 19 & 20th installation
-Walk through next week
-Sight work will be done ahead
-Lunch provided by Co-op Thursday & Friday
-bring work gloves and boots
-Alliance Church providing bathrooms & meeting space
-Take lots of pictures
Dawn Updates:
-Cathy Leckie is in the Vermilion Hospital. Dawn is in touch with her.
-Lil Wilson from the lodge is looking for a piano for their Rotary Room in the lodge
-Bartend for Buffalo Trails Awards night Oct 7th. Need another bartender
Harvest Gala:
-progressing well
-Tickets out soon
Interact Update:
-at least 15 people signed up
-Sophia T. joined by google meet from Argentina
Executive Meeting:
-Monday Sept 15 @ 7pm
