    1. Library Presentation - Justin – Board Chair. (Supported by Stewart – Manager and Anna Treasurer) The library hopes to make the entire Library accessible. They have had incidents in the past where individuals have not been able to participate in the same way their group is. This initiative has been a topic for over 20 Years. The space hosts several community events such as seed swaps, science fairs. This project is considered a priority for the current Library board in hopes to essentially increase the accessible usable space at the library to support the future of the facility. Why and why now, increased access to a hidden Gem of the Library. More efficient use of space. The estimated cost of the project was actually less than anticipated. The necessity of a lift at the facility was always anticipated, but other priorities have come into play. The projected cost is $132,000. This number has contingency, but there may need to be some additional renovations to accommodate a new managers office which will be eliminated with the elevator construction. The Board is approaching several parties in addition to Rotary including corporate sponsor options. They are also looking into other grants and sources as contingencies to the CFIP grant is denied or substantially less than the amount applied for. Depending on the level of support will determine how much the library will need to source from their current Cash reserves. The hope is that this project can be completed in the Fall of 2024.
