Presentation Bernie Heudipohl regarding the Music Festival
- Founded in 1980, Took a Break for Covid, and post Covid they have lost several organizers from the pre-Covid period. They are looking to add 5 more members to their committee. Hoping that through Rotary contacts they may help find people to fill those rolls. Please pass along Bernie’s name to anyone that you feel may contribute in those rolls. Bernie is hoping to return in the Spring to give us an overview of how the festival went. They are looking for a finance person, Awards director to help source awards (although the 2023 awards are already in the Bank), Organizational coordinator to schedule volunteers, Publicity coordinator, Concert Organizer, Programmer to work in scheduling/documenting the events. The 2023 Festival is scheduled for March 17th to April 2nd.
Updates:
- The Rotary Employment Partnership Committee had a meeting. Kory joined the Steering committee. Lorne’s son Greg is working in the program as a trainer for the Lloydminster Bobcats. They are looking for Employers that are looking, then Jenna will do the heavy lifting to match Employers to Candidates.
