Presentation by Garth Rowswell: Garth gave a fantastic update on what he is doing as our MLA. He let us know what committees he is on what is involved with them. Thank you, Garth, for coming to our meeting.
Playground: Work starts today at around 9am and will continue Friday and Saturday (clean up). Thanks to the Co-op for providing lunch and the Alliance Church with the use of their facilities. Bring work gloves and work boots (steel toed if working right around the heavy equipment.)
Harvest Gala Silent Auction:
Bevin is getting a sponsorship letter done up to give to businesses
-check with Bevin first make sure you are the only person approaching a business for a donation.
-items are better over a gift card
-we will combine things together to make a package
-make sure we know who needs to be recognized
-will need them by Oct 20
Books for Belize:
Robin had received a thank you from Juliett for all the items that were in the sea can. He will do a formal presentation with pictures later. Some of the supplies have been given to 25 schools so far. We are looking at adding this to the screens during the Harvest Gala.
Sargeant of Arms: no fines today
