Rotary supports medical convoy in Egypt Rotary members in Egypt have provided eye surgeries, dental care and other health care to a remote Sahara community. A medical convoy including 17 doctors, five nurses, four medical students, two pharmacists and a technician held the five-day "Health for All" campaign. They treated more than 1,000 patients and performed nearly 90 operations. The Rotary Club of Alexandria Mariout gave about US$7,000 to cover the convoy's expenses, and the physicians donated their time and expertise. All but one of the medical team members were Alexandria University faculty. Four were Rotarians from the Rotary clubs of Alexandria, Alexandria Mariout, and Alexandria-Ramleh.
