Regular Morning Meeting - VERY Busy Morning!!
- Call to Order, O Canada, Prayer, Four way test
- Welcome and Introduction of Guests: Marcie Jacula, AG Doreen McCaw and Glenn McCaw, Todd and Sam Ree, Karen, Ashton and Ryan Selte, Allan Chase, Danine Kidd
- Thanks to Team 1 for Breakfast
- Birthdays /Anniversary: Brenda and Ed Lee March 4, Gloria Morrison March 7, John Lunty is 9 years a Rotarian
- Purple Pinkie Day: Jean thanked everyone who was able to participate in last Thursday’s Purple Pinkie Day, Interact members, College Ambassador and Leadership students were all able to join Rotarians in the day!
- Cheque Presentations: Danine Kidd was given $250 towards her trip to Tanzania this summer. Vermilion Minor Ball was presented with a cheque for $500 to go towards uniforms and equipment.
- March 29, 2018 off site meeting: The March 29 meeting will be held at the new Town Shop. We will receive a tour and some information regarding the Town’s Waste Water Treatment Plant.
- Integrity Award Nominations: are due to Ken by March 30th.
- Speaker Sam Ree: Sam is part of the JR Robson Cross Country ski team, and was selected to join nine other youth athletes from Alberta to participate in a Sport/Cultural Connection with Alberta Sport Connection. ASC provided the transportation, luggage and uniforms, and the team travelled to Gangwon Province in South Korea in December to participate in four Cross Country races on the same routes that were used this past month for the Olympic Games in PyeongChang. Sam gave a lively, informative, entertaining presentation with some wonderful pictures! Congratulations Sam we are sure you represented Alberta and Canada with class!
