- World Polio Day Raffle: Still time to enter the draw for the stuffies.
- Friends of Vermilion Health Centre: Brooke Fadden presented to us about the Centrella Smart Plus Bed(which they have already and is mainly used in the palliative room). This bed has enhanced design that has bariatric capabilities, fall prevention and pressure injury prevention. The bed has roll assist and multiple positional options. Enhanced options include USB charging port, personal storage and continuous heart rate and respiratory monitoring. The price for this equipment was $16,733.79.
This bed takes 3 months to get. We also asked Brooke to go back to the friends committee and the hospital to see if there is anything else that they would have on a wish list. We request that maybe they could make a top 5 wish list. She will get back to us with this information.
- Vermilion Wellness Coalition:
Motion: Vermilion Rotary Club will donate $1500.00 to the Vermilion Wellness Coalition.
(motion made by Kirby Whitlock and Seconded by Rebekah Warkentin)
Voted on and motion carried by the club.
The club wants the Vermilion Wellness Coalition to come and present to us. This money will be for the sponsorship of six Sunday family swims. Average of 87 people per swim.
- Exchange Student: Dave and Lorne have interviewed 2 of the potential exchange students.
- Healthy Club Survey: Dawn will be tabulating the survey and presenting to us. We also need to look at more of a diverse group of members from the different sectors of our community. Also need to have more social events for our club. Newer members to feel free to ask questions. Start a mentor program. Our clubs average age is 52.
If anyone has a topic or speaker that would be good to have, please let Dawn know.

- Garage Sale Pick-up: Will be needing some volunteers for this Saturday for some pick ups and potentially at the end of the month.
- Bruce brought a Rotary banner back from Tomball Texas. He went to a meeting in Texas.
