  1. World Polio Day: Scott-video-History of Polio
Club Polio project-$5 per ticket or $20 for 5 tickets – First Thursday in November a draw will be held for a Koala Bear or Lion (both stuffies have travelled from Singapore)
October is Polio Awareness Month, Oct 24 is World Polio Day
Scott presented us with more information on Polio and the work that Rotary does for this.
 
  1. Youth Exchange: Monday Oct 7: Dave and Lorne are hosting an information night on youth exchange at JR Robson at 7pm

  1. International Convention: Information coming every week; price changes in Dec 15, 2024
 
  1. DG Visit/Social/Executive Meeting: Executive will be meeting Wednesday with the DG.  Scott has arranged for us to meet at the Old School Cheesery. There will be club social after the executive meeting from 7-9
 
  1. Islay School: Kirby thanked everyone for helping with the Islay School. Thanks also to Robert Snelgrove for letting us have to use of their shop and space in a seacan to store the items.
 
  1. Breakfast- charge accounts at Co-op #54698 for grocery purchases; we get a 10% discount on food. AG foods #45. Laurel is sending out this information out to everyone.
