    1. Robert Snelgrove – Islay School. Is looking for a crew to help clean the school out this fall.  That way it is ready for the spring.
    2. Haying in the 30’s at Christina’s Home Furnishings on Nov. 24th. Public call for cookies will be going out Nov 5th.
    3. Polio Plus – Scott reminded the members about October’s focus on Polio. If you are interested in contributing, this would be the month.
    4. Tickets for the Oiler Jr. B. Game are available at ATB, Credit Union, Baddock Power Products and Long’s. On the 1st the Oiler representatives will be in town. They will be touring the schools in the afternoon.
    5. Friends of the Vermilion Regional Centre Help – looking for Volunteers Saturday the 11th to help set up for a fundraising event on the 12th.
    6. Harvest Gala update – Bevin thanked those who have reached out for silent auction items. There is still room for more, but we do have a good amount. The Laws brothers have offered to auction for us. Laurel, sign up sheet is sent around, need members to help with decorating and set up. 5:30 cocktails, 6:30 supper. Need to push ticket sales…..  Direct parties to Laurel at Webb’s Machinery.
