Harvest Gala Recap: Great turnout, Auctioneer was successful even though the Blue Jays was on. Entertainment was very successful. We should make the $40,000 for hospital project.
Ukrainian dance was fabulous with the clean up of the supper dishes.

Hosting an exchange student next year:
Motion made by Lorne: Vermilion Rotary Club will budget $4000 plus associated costs towards the 2026/2027 exchange student.
Friendly Amendment: Vermilion Rotary Club will budget up to $10,000 towards the 2026/2027 exchange student.

Amendment was accepted by Lorne and approved by Harm

New Member Induction: Dawn inducted Brad Gallamore as our newest Rotarian member.
Start Fund for the 75th and 100th Anniversary:
Motion Made by Darlene: Vermilion Rotary Club to set aside $1000.00 a year for the 75th and 100th anniversaries.
This money is to be used for a bigger project on these anniversaries. In order to help offset those costs when the actual anniversaries come around.

Friends of Vermilion Regional Centre Festival of Crafts
Sunday Clean-up around 4pm and we need about 4 people to help
Committee Reorganization Exercise: We will be going through the organizational chart so our newest members can know what each member can do. And any member can sign up for the different committees that we have.
Isabella’s Weekly Report: she was unable to make it to the meeting

Interact Club: The kids are taking over the Cookie Sales that happens on the night of the Christmas parade on November 28. The money is raised to the Haying in the Thirties. Looking for people to make cookies. More info to come once they have more things organized.
Focus Society: They are going to be the recipient of the Smile Cookies fund that Tim Hortons does every year.
Cookies can be ordered for pickup during the week of Nov 17-23rd. Please support by purchasing a cookie.
