- Note for Calgary Rotary Conference: Hotels are booking up fast.
- Lakeland College Presentation: Capital Projects Update Residence Revitalization, Bentley Bld., Swimming Pool Closure, Vermilion Common. They hope to have the Pool back up and running by September. The existing Pool opened in 1988 – 36 years ago. Vermilion Common is an initiative to have a common study area with the main Library. They hope to have this in place so they can offer a safe area to study 24/7. Currently all the study areas on campus close down by midnight. There is a need and desire to have a facility available for study late at night. Sports update Lakeland Rustler Women won Nationals at Volleyball and Basketball. Mixed Curling Gold 3 years in a row. Silver Women’s Hockey, Bronze Men’s Basketball, 22 All-conference athletes, 8 CCAA all Canadians, 8 CCAA Academic all Canadians………
