Guests this morning were Brian Match, Marie Ens, Blaine Sylvester and Mindy Anderson.

Next week is a busy one for John as he has a birthday and anniversary.

Teresa gave us a two week update.Highlights were a trip to Hinton to meet other exchange students, the mountains, and an Oilers game.Thanks for getting up so early to make us your traditional “pancakes”.Sorry cannot remember the proper name.

Earlier this week you would have received an e-mail from Jean introducing Marie Ens and her passion the “Place of Rescue Foundation”.This morning Marie shared her story and slideshow and introduced us to some of her Cambodian“grandchildren”. Place of Rescue provides homes and a safe place for aids families, raising the children after the parents have died.Orphan children and “grannies” also benefit from the caring of Marie and her support team.To read more about the work of this amazing 80 year old, go to www.placeofrescue.com .

Our second guest speaker was Brian Match from the Primary Care Network.This was a return visit for a question and answer session.Are the services covered by Health Care (all except possibly footcare)?How are the services accessed (thru referral of a physician or by calling the Care network direct, depending on service)?More information from PCN Vermilion Office, 780-853-6966.
