President elect Laurel Wynnychuk presented her Budget for the upcoming year. Some discussion around a few budget items.
Membership
Slight membership increase to $290. This must be decided on today as dues are due sonn. Bruce MacDuff made a motion to increase the dues from $285 to $290. Erwin Warkentin seconded. All in favor. None opposed. Motion carried. E-transfer to vermilionrotaryclub@gmail.com
Service Ways and Means
No major projects on the books this year. We will see what happens as the province re-opens. We may do an online furniture sale as we did last year to lighten the c-can load. We are also hoping to do some type of modified fund-raiser for the Harvest Gala this year. Also some discussion around whether or not we need to do both the Community Spirits raffle and the Fair Raffle in a normal year.
We know that this proposed budget is tentative and due to current circumstances may need to be somewhat flexible.
